Mark Thursday 9 November in your agenda! That's when the Behavioural Insights Network Netherlands (BIN NL) organises the annual Behavioural Insights Day with professor Sander van der Linden (Cambridge University) as keynote speaker. This year's theme is Bridging the gaps. How do we narrow the gap between politics and society, government policy and implementation, science and practice, systems thinking and human scale, ....? Together with you we will explore how we as behavioural experts, policymakers, implementers, regulators and communication professionals reduce the distance between government and citizens. Surely you want to be there too?
There is almost no escape on social media. Misinformation spreads like a virus and is difficult to correct. That is why professor Sander van der Linden argues in his book Foolproof - "Immune to fake news" - for a "vaccination" against fake news. Van der Linden is professor of social psychology and director of the Social Decision Making Lab at the University of Cambridge. He is among the 1% most-cited scientists in the world and his studies have appeared in Nature and Science, among others. To combat the spread of misinformation, Van der Linden worked with the World Health Organisation and technology companies such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Google.
Besides the keynote presentation, there will again be around 30 sub-sessions in which we will share behavioural knowledge and insights. Interested? Sign up via www.dagvanhetgedrag.nl.
See you at the Behavioural Insights Day, 9 November, at the Fokker Terminal!
